time for benitez to go
as a liverpool fan that was so happy and saw such a bright future ahead back in 2005 when we lifted the champions league and a manager with the skills to bring the premier league to us, i have to admit, i was wrong.
* every year he has forced a top player out the club, signing a poor replacement in place
* tried to sign gareth barry in place of xabi alonso, forcing alonso to quit the club at first opportunity
* getting rid of top players and crowd pleasers such as alonso, garcia and riise (IIRC all 3 appeared on 100 players that shook the kop??)
* selling robbie keane because of a personal spat with rick parry, forcing parry, possibly our best ever (albeit slightly embarrassing at times) CEO out at the same time, for near enough half what we paid 4 months before, when we're struggling for funds, without replacing or even recalling voronin. this situation alone is the reason we didn't win the premier league last year - torres missed most of the season and we had no-one upfront properly.. keane certainly, voronin probably, would have made the difference to get us the points in the silly drop points last year
* not replacing Murphy, Owen, Baros/Cisse, Henchoz, Hyypia, Alonso, Luis Garcia, Crouch, Keane, Riise
* not handling the Morientes situation properly - playing him in the reserves for the remainder of the 2005 season then giving him a fresh start at the start of 2006
* keeping faith in pisspoor players
* treating Dudek like crap - he's happy as a 2nd choice at madrid, he would have been more than happy to stay at liverpool as #2 if it wasn't for benitez
* 6th year of a 5 year plan to get the league, like houllier
* lost the mind games with Ferguson badly last year
* 9 defeats since the start of pre-season this year
too many mistakes too far now. at the moment we wont even be in the europa cup for the rest of the season and probably won't break the top 4 at the end of the year
Bring back KING KENNY!!!
and i'm sorry, even another great win against united won't do. ive had enough
